What is an Energy Performance Certificate?

The Climate Change Act 2008 commits Government to reduce overall carbon emissions by at least 80% by 2050. Meeting this target will require a change in energy efficiency of existing buildings and household energy use.

A step foward to achieving this target was the introduction of EPC's. All buildings, whenever they are built, sold or rented out, require an EPC.

The certificate will give prospective purchasers an easy to read guide to the likely energy costs of occupying the property, as well as recommendations on how to improve its efficiency.

Stacey Surveys is a family run business, of which can offer Domestic EPCs. All our EPCs are registered as an official document on Landmark and are valid for up to 10 years.

When dealing with us, you will benefit from the attention to detail, reliability and a personal touch that you would expect from a dedicated local Professional.

Evening and weekend appointments available.

Been offered a free EPC? There is no such thing; you’ll pay for it somewhere!
